LobbySystem

Updated 5 min read

The lobby is Dyhntastic.net's central hub — not just a waiting room, but its own progression space. From here you switch between game modes, collect daily and playtime rewards, level up, open cases, unlock cosmetics, track quests, play CookieClicker, compare stats, and find hidden collectibles.

Getting around

On entering, you get a set of lobby items for quick access: Extras (your level, quests, language, stats, cosmetics, rewards, and shop all in one menu), Settings (spawn behavior, double jump, visibility), Profile (your personal info), the Navigator (switch between lobby instances, the VIP lobby, and game modes like BedWars or SkyWars), and a PvP item to enter or leave the lobby's optional combat mode. Once in PvP mode, you can't easily back out mid-fight, and some features like case opening are blocked while it's active.

Double Jump can be toggled in Settings for faster lobby navigation, and depending on which gadgets you have equipped, extra movement options like a Grappling Hook, Ender Pearl, Trampoline, or Teleport Bow may be available too.

Coins

Coins are the main lobby currency. You earn them from rewards, quests, level-ups, cases, CookieClicker exchanges, events, and giveaways, and spend them on cosmetics, cases, rank shop offers, and quest resets.

Cases

Cases are lootbox-style reward chests, bought in bundles of 1 (500 coins), 3 (1,000), 5 (2,000), or 10 (4,000). Opening one can give coins (100–2,500), temporary ranks, armor cosmetics, Fountain Boots, gadgets, particles, balloons, or other lobby extras. If you win a cosmetic you already own, or a rank you don't need because you already have something higher, you get a coin payout instead.

Rewards

Daily24 hours50 coins, 5 EXP
Weekly7 days150 coins, 1 case, 10 EXP

Certain ranks boost the coin and case amounts (EXP stays the same across ranks):

Playtime rewards unlock at specific hour milestones (3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 168, 240, 336, 500, 750, and 1,000 hours) and must be claimed in order — the next milestone is always shown in the Rewards menu, with bigger payouts at higher tiers and rank bonuses stacking on top.

Level system

The lobby has its own level system, capped at level 100, fed by EXP from rewards, quests, and collectibles. Each level-up gives coins and cases, both scaling up with progress — case rewards go from 1 per level (levels 1–10) up to 4 per level (levels 51–100), and coin rewards start around 100 and keep growing.

Quests

The quest menu covers nearly every game mode — Duels (all four sub-modes), BedWars, ItemChaos, KnockIt, SkyWars, TNTBall, Capture The Flag, FireBall Fight, Spleef, BlockParty, and Bingo — each showing your progress, target, and coin/EXP reward. You can reset all your quests for 500 coins if you'd rather get a fresh set.

Statistics and leaderboards

The stats view covers your network stats, level, coins, cookies, and per-game-mode performance including winstreaks or best results where relevant. Leaderboards are available for Cookies, Coins, BedWars, SkyWars, Capture The Flag, Spleef, and MLGRush.

Cosmetics

The Cosmetics menu is organized into Armor, Banner, Gadgets, Particle, Heads, Balloons, Pets, seasonal items, and a Reset All option.

  • Armor — material sets (Leather, Chain, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Rainbow), a wide range of solid colors, and a few themed sets like Skeleton Armor.
  • Fountain Boots — boots that generate particle or item effects around you as you walk, themed around materials like gold, diamond, cookie, Nether, pumpkin, melon, End, redstone, and many more.
  • Banners — country flags (Germany, USA, England, France, Spain, and many others) plus themed designs like wolves, bees, or sunflowers.
  • Gadgets — active fun items including a Grappling Hook, Ender Pearl, Paintball Gun, Trampoline, TNT Fountain, Teleport Bow, and the PvP mode toggle itself.
  • Particles — visible effect trails like hearts, fire, portal, explosion, or snow particles.
  • Balloons and Pets — companions that follow or decorate you, with renameable pets.

If server performance drops, cosmetics can be temporarily disabled automatically to keep the lobby stable — this isn't a bug, just protection against lag, and they come back once performance recovers.

CookieClicker

A lobby minigame where clicking earns Cookies — a separate currency from coins, though exchangeable for them (100,000 cookies = 20 coins, scaling up from there). Spend cookies on upgrades to boost your earnings per click, and choose from several click animations (or disable them entirely).

Collectibles

Hidden or placed items scattered around the lobby reward coins and EXP when found, with extra bonuses for hitting milestones or finding every collectible of a type or season — a nice incentive to actually explore the lobby instead of just using menus.

Seasonal content

The lobby adapts to the time of year — Winter, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Summer seasons can affect world time, weather, cosmetics, collectibles, and special menus, roughly aligned with their real-world equivalents (Christmas in December, Halloween in October, and so on). An Advent calendar appears during the appropriate window with daily content or rewards.

Lotto and Eurojackpot

Two coin-based lottery games are available. Lotto costs 1,000 coins per ticket, paying out from 1,000 coins (2 correct numbers) up to 500,000 coins (6 correct). Eurojackpot costs 2,000 coins per ticket, with payouts from 1,000 coins (2+2 match) up to 500,000 coins (5+2 match).

Rank shop

Temporary ranks can be bought with coins when offers are active — for example Cowboy (750 coins for 3 days, up to 4,800 for 30), Trident (1,200 for 3 days, up to 7,500 for 30), or VIP (14,250 for 7 days, 28,500 for 30). Ranks can boost reward amounts and unlock extra lobby perks on top of the temporary status itself.

Settings and privacy

The language menu lets you switch your interface language if multiple are available. Privacy information is published at dyhntastic.net/privacy-policy/.
