Terms of Use
This English version is provided for your convenience only. The legally binding version of these Terms of Use is the German original (Nutzungsbedingungen), available at https://dyhntastic.net/terms-of-use/. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
1. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to all services offered by the operator under the name Dyhntastic.net. These include in particular:
- The Minecraft server network at dyhntastic.net (including all game modes, lobbies and worlds)
- The websites at https://dyhntastic.net and https://dyhntastic.de (each incl. all subdomains)
- The translation portal at https://translate.dyhntastic.net
- The application portal at https://apply.dyhntastic.net
- The TeamSpeak server
- The Discord server
- The newsletter service
- Email communication with the operator (e.g. support, applications, legal matters and data protection inquiries)
- The Guardian portal at https://dyhntastic.net/guardian/ (unban requests as well as bug and rule-violation reports)
- All further subdomains of dyhntastic.net and dyhntastic.de, as well as the technical services used to operate the aforementioned offerings (e.g. APIs)
The operator of all listed services is Raphael Wiener (hereinafter the 'operator'). Contact details can be found in the Legal Notice at https://dyhntastic.net/legal-notice/.
In addition, the operator maintains official profiles on social networks (including Instagram, TikTok and Threads). The use of these platforms is governed primarily by the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective provider. These Terms of Use apply there only insofar as the operator can actually influence the respective interaction or content (in particular for content provided by the operator itself and the moderation of its own channels).
By using any of the services listed above, users declare their agreement with these Terms of Use. Where individual services require differing or supplementary provisions, these are set out separately in the relevant sections.
2. Minimum Age and Consent of Legal Guardians
Use of the Dyhntastic.net services requires a minimum age of 13 years.
Users between 13 and 15 years of age (i.e. under 16) require the express consent of a legal guardian. By using the services, these users confirm that such consent has been given.
In case of doubt regarding the minimum age or the existence of consent, the operator is entitled to block access to its services until proof is provided.
Use of the services is not permitted for users under 13 years of age.
3. Registration and Account
3.1 Minecraft account
A validly licensed Minecraft account (Mojang/Microsoft) is required to use the Minecraft server network. Separate registration with Dyhntastic.net is not necessary. By connecting to the server for the first time, the user accepts these Terms of Use and the Rules at https://dyhntastic.net/rules/.
3.2 Portals (translate.dyhntastic.net, apply.dyhntastic.net)
Use of the portals requires manual registration. During registration, a username, email address and password must be provided. The user is obliged to provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
After registration, accounts are manually reviewed and activated by an administrator. There is no entitlement to activation.
The user is responsible for the security of their own login credentials. Password theft or unauthorized use of the account must be reported to the operator without undue delay.
The operator reserves the right to block or delete accounts without stating reasons, in particular in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use.
4. Rules of Conduct
4.1 General rules
The following fundamental rules of conduct apply to all Dyhntastic.net services:
- Respectful treatment of all users and team members
- No insults, hate speech, discrimination or threats
- No distribution of unlawful, obscene or otherwise inappropriate content
- No advertising for third-party services or products without express permission
- No disclosure of other users' personal data without their consent
4.2 Minecraft-specific rules
In addition to the general rules, the complete Rules at https://dyhntastic.net/rules/ apply to the Minecraft network. These form a binding part of these Terms of Use.
The following are prohibited in particular:
- Use of cheats, hacks, macros or other unauthorized tools
- Exploitation of bugs or exploits for one's own advantage
- Griefing, scamming or other forms of intentional harm towards other players
- Circumvention of sanctions (e.g. ban evasion via alternative accounts)
- Disruption of server operations (e.g. through lag machines, flood-bot attacks)
Discovered bugs, exploits or security vulnerabilities must not be exploited and must be reported without undue delay — preferably via the Guardian portal at https://dyhntastic.net/guardian/, or alternatively by email to support@dyhntastic.net. The Guardian portal can also be used to report rule violations by other players (e.g. cheating, griefing, scamming) as well as misconduct by team members (e.g. abuse of permissions or rank).
5. Translation Portal (translate.dyhntastic.net)
5.1 Participation and activation
Anyone can register as a translator at https://translate.dyhntastic.net/. Account activation is carried out manually by an administrator. There is no legal entitlement to activation. The operator may refuse activation without stating reasons.
5.2 Submission of translations
Activated translator accounts are entitled to submit translations (language keys) for the Dyhntastic.net network. Submitted translations are reviewed by the review team. There is no entitlement to the adoption of a submitted translation.
Translators are obliged to submit only original translations and not to infringe any third-party rights (e.g. copyrights). By submitting, the translator confirms that they have the right to submit the content.
Optionally, the translator can have an automatic translation suggestion generated for a language key via the translation API of DeepL SE. In this process, only the source text specified by the operator and the selected target language are processed; no personal data of the translator is transmitted to DeepL (see Privacy Policy).
5.3 Rights of use in translations
The translator grants the operator a non-exclusive right of use in the submitted translations and language keys that is unlimited in terms of time, territory and content, free of charge, transferable and irrevocable. This includes in particular the right to use, edit, reproduce, distribute and make publicly available the submitted content, including in modified form and in any media.
The copyright itself is not transferred; pursuant to Section 29(1) of the German Copyright Act (§ 29 Abs. 1 UrhG), it remains with the translator. No remuneration is paid for submitted translations unless a separate written agreement has been made.
Insofar as the translator has not yet reached the age of 16, the effective granting of the aforementioned rights of use requires the consent of a legal guardian.
5.4 Blocking of translator accounts
The operator reserves the right to block or delete translator accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, the submission of inappropriate content, or inactivity.
6. Applications (jobs & apply.dyhntastic.net)
Team applications can be submitted via several channels:
- Application form at https://dyhntastic.net/jobs/ -- form data is automatically created as a ticket in the support system
- Online application portal at https://apply.dyhntastic.net/
- By email to apply@dyhntastic.net
All application channels concern voluntary, honorary team positions without any entitlement to remuneration, unless a separate agreement is made.
There is no entitlement to the processing of an application or to admission to the team. Submitted application documents are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and deleted after the procedure has been completed.
Accounts on apply.dyhntastic.net are limited to the application process. Use of the portal for other purposes is not permitted.
7. Discord
7.1 Purpose and use
Discord serves as a supplementary support channel for general questions concerning the Minecraft network. Users can submit support requests and open tickets there. Discord is not an official channel for applications, data protection inquiries or formal contact.
7.2 Prohibition on sharing personal data
Sharing sensitive personal data via Discord is expressly prohibited and is also never requested by the team. This applies in particular to:
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Postal addresses
- Passwords or access credentials
- Payment data
- Identity documents or other proof of identity
- Private photos or other personal files
No team member will ever ask for such data. Should this nevertheless occur, it must be reported to an administrator without undue delay (Discord: @DyhnenTv).
For applications, support and formal contact, the following channels are available exclusively: applications via the application form at https://dyhntastic.net/jobs/, the application portal at https://apply.dyhntastic.net/ or by email to apply@dyhntastic.net; support requests by email to support@dyhntastic.net; unban requests, bug reports and reports of rule violations preferably via the Guardian portal at https://dyhntastic.net/guardian/; legal matters and data protection inquiries by email to info@dyhntastic.net.
7.3 Rules of conduct on Discord
In addition to the general rules of conduct (Section 4), the following specific rules apply on the Discord server:
- The username should match the in-game name (not mandatory, but desired)
- Messages must be relevant to the topic of the respective text channel
- Recording conversations is only permitted with the express consent of all users present
- Advertising of any kind is prohibited without prior arrangement with an administrator
- Muting or blocking team members is prohibited
- Private misunderstandings and disputes must be resolved privately and do not belong on the server
- Avatars and profile pictures must comply with the general rules of conduct
8. Sanctions and Appeals Procedure
8.1 Types of sanctions
In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use or the Rules, the operator reserves the right to take the following measures:
- Warning (Warn)
- Temporary chat ban (Mute)
- Temporary or permanent exclusion from the Minecraft network (Ban)
- Blocking or deletion of portal accounts (translate, apply)
- Exclusion from the TeamSpeak server
Sanctions may be imposed manually by team members or automatically by the AI-assisted moderation system. Automatic sanctions are temporary and can be appealed.
8.2 Appeals procedure
An unban or appeal request can be filed against imposed sanctions. This should preferably be submitted via the Guardian portal at https://dyhntastic.net/guardian/, or alternatively by email to support@dyhntastic.net. The following information is required:
- Minecraft username or affected account
- Type of sanction and date if applicable
- Reasons for the appeal
The operator reviews the appeal and communicates the result, as a rule, within 7 business days. In the case of automatically imposed sanctions (auto-mute by AI moderation), the review is carried out by a human. The operator's decision is final.
8.3 No entitlement to continued use
There is no legal entitlement to use the Dyhntastic.net services. The operator may restrict or terminate access to its services at any time and without stating reasons.
9. Content and Intellectual Property
All content of the dyhntastic.net website and the operated portals (texts, graphics, logos, plugins, software) is, unless otherwise stated, the intellectual property of the operator or of licensed third parties and may not be reproduced, distributed or made publicly available without express permission.
Dyhntastic.net and its services are not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a registered trademark of Mojang Studios.
Self-developed Minecraft plugins and other software of the operator may not be copied, decompiled or passed on without express written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Liability
10.1 Availability
The operator strives for stable and uninterrupted operation of the services but does not warrant their constant availability. Maintenance work, technical faults or force majeure may lead to interruptions. There is no entitlement to compensation in such cases.
10.2 Game progress and data
The operator is not liable for the loss of game progress, in-game currency, inventory data or other game-related data resulting from technical errors, data loss or server problems. We recommend not investing any real-world value into the game, as no refund of in-game goods is possible.
10.3 User conduct
The operator is not liable for damages arising from the conduct of other users. The respective user is solely responsible for content they publish in chats, forums or other communication areas.
10.4 External links
The website contains links to external websites. The operator has no influence over their content and accepts no liability for external sites.
10.5 General limitation of liability
The foregoing exclusions and limitations of liability do not apply to damages arising from injury to life, body or health based on a breach of duty by the operator, nor to other damages based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the operator. In the case of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the operator's liability is limited in amount to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Mandatory statutory liability, e.g. under the German Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.
11. Amendments to the Terms of Use
The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use for objective reasons (e.g. changes in the legal situation, adjustment of the range of services, technical further development). The respective current version is published on the website at https://dyhntastic.net and is marked with a date.
The version published at the time of use is authoritative. By continuing to use the services after a modified version has been published, the user accepts it; the respective current version applies on each new connection or login. If a user does not agree with a change, they may cease using the services and delete any account at any time or request its deletion.
12. Applicable Law and Disputes
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If the user is a consumer with habitual residence in another country, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that country remain unaffected by this choice of law (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation).
If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered seat. With respect to consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
The operator is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Section 36 VSBG). The Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform operated by the European Commission was discontinued as of 20 July 2025.
