Discord Linking
Linking your Minecraft account to Discord lets Dyhntastic.net recognize which Discord account belongs to which player, so you can automatically receive Discord roles matching your in-game rank or groups. It's entirely optional — you can keep playing normally on the network without ever linking your accounts.
Why link your account
- Your Minecraft account gets matched to your Discord account automatically.
- You receive Discord roles based on your Minecraft rank or groups.
- If your rank changes in-game, your Discord roles can be updated to match.
- You can check your link status anytime, and trigger a role refresh yourself if something looks off.
- You stay in control — you can remove the link whenever you want.
How to link your account
- Join the Dyhntastic.net Minecraft network with the account you want to link.
- Type /discord link in chat. The server gives you a 6-character verification code, valid for 10 minutes.
- Head to the official Dyhntastic.net Discord server and use /verify <code>, replacing <code> with the one you got in-game.
- If the code is valid, the bot links your Discord account and assigns matching roles.
- Check it worked with /discord status in-game — it'll show which Discord account is connected.
If your code expires before you use it, just run /discord link again for a new one.
Commands
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
| /discord help | Shows an overview of available Discord commands in-game. |
| /discord link | Generates a verification code to link your account (30s cooldown). |
| /discord status | Shows whether your account is currently linked, and to which Discord account. |
| /discord update | Requests a refresh of your Discord roles (60s cooldown, only works once linked). |
| /discord unlink | Starts removing your Discord link. |
| /discord unlink confirm | Confirms the removal (must follow within ~30 seconds). |
/dc works as a shorter alias for /discord everywhere.
Removing the link
Run /discord unlink, then confirm with /discord unlink confirm within about 30 seconds. Once removed, your Discord and Minecraft accounts are no longer connected, and roles managed through the link can be updated or removed accordingly. You can always link again later with /discord link.
Troubleshooting
- Code doesn't work: double-check you typed it exactly, and that it hasn't passed the 10-minute limit — generate a new one with /discord link if needed.
- Linked the wrong Discord account: unlink with /discord unlink + /discord unlink confirm, then link the correct account.
- Roles look wrong: try /discord update first; if that doesn't fix it, contact staff.
- Left and rejoined the Discord server: use /discord update after rejoining, or link again if needed.
Security
Never share your verification code with anyone — whoever has a valid code can complete the link on Discord. Only enter it on the official Dyhntastic.net Discord server, and make sure you're using /verify with the official bot. If you ever link the wrong account by accident, just unlink and start over.
