SMP
Welcome to the Dyhntastic.net SMP! SMP means Survival Multiplayer: you play Minecraft survival together with other players, build a base, gather resources, trade, and progress through jobs, quests, perks, custom items, and a large economy system. This guide is intentionally detailed so new Minecraft players can understand what to do without already knowing every command.
Quick start: your first 30 minutes
Get oriented: Use /spawn to return to the central starting point. Then open /smp, the main menu that links most server systems.
Find a place to build: Use /rtp for a random safe teleport. Look for wood, food, and enough room for a starter base.
Set a home: Once you like a spot, save it with /sethome base. Return later with /home or /homes.
Make basic gear: Gather wood, stone, coal, and iron. Craft tools, torches, a furnace, chests, and a bed.
Choose a job: Open /job and pick a job that matches how you play. Miner is good for mining, Farmer for farming, Builder for building, and Fisher for fishing.
Earn money: Make money through jobs, quests, /sell, ChestShops, the Auction House, or player trading. Check your balance with /balance.
Claim rewards: Check /quests and /deliveries often so quest, vote, or job rewards do not sit unclaimed.
The SMP menu
Your most important tool is /smp. This menu brings together Homes, Warps, Bank, Admin Shop, Storage, Deliveries, Auction House, Jobs, Perks, Quests, Custom Items, PlayerWarps, Random Teleport, and your Ender Chest. If you forget a command, open /smp first.
Teleportation and travel
Spawn, RTP, and safe locations
/spawn returns you to the server spawn. /rtp teleports you to a random safe location and is ideal when you need a new area. Teleports may be blocked while you are combat-tagged to keep PvP fair.
Homes
Homes are personal teleport points. Set them at your base, farm, mine, Nether portal, or trading spot. Common commands are /sethome base, /home, and /removehome base. Your rank may limit how many homes you can set.
Warps and PlayerWarps
/warp opens public server warps made by staff. /playerwarp or /pwarp opens locations created by players. Use /playerwarp create <name> to advertise your shop, town, or build, and /playerwarp delete <name> to remove it.
TPA
Use /tpa <player> to ask to teleport to someone. Use /tpahere <player> to invite someone to you. Answer incoming requests with /tpaccept or /tpdeny.
Economy, bank, and trading
Money
The server currency is shown as $. View your wallet with /balance. Send money with /pay <player> <amount>. Review your transaction history with /transaction.
Bank
The /bank menu separates bank money from wallet money. You can deposit, withdraw, view your bank balance, and review interest history. It is useful for organizing larger sums.
Selling items
Use /sell to sell items directly. Check a single item value with /worth. Open the full price list with /worthlist. This is especially helpful before selling a large mining or farming haul.
Admin Shop, ChestShops, and Auction House
The /adminshop is the server shop with categories and search. ChestShops are attached to chests or barrels and let players buy from or sell to you. The /auctionhouse or /ah is a global marketplace for buying and listing items. Rare items, custom tools, building blocks, and farm goods often work well there.
Jobs
Jobs give experience, money, and level-up rewards for matching activities. Choose them with /job or /jobs. Jobs level separately up to level 100. Your first job is free; switching later may cost money.
| Job | Good for | Beginner tip |
|---|---|---|
| Miner | Mining ores and stone | Great early choice because you collect resources and money at the same time. |
| Woodcutter | Cutting trees | Good if you need lots of wood for shops or builds. |
| Farmer | Crops and animals | Stable income with wheat, carrots, potatoes, and breeding animals. |
| Fisher | Fishing | Relaxed job with useful side rewards. |
| Builder | Placing blocks | Perfect if you enjoy building large bases. |
| Killer/Hunter | Mobs or PvP | Bring food, armor, and plan for the risk of death. |
| Enchanter/Crafter/Alchemist/Blacksmith | Enchanting, crafting, brewing, smithing | Best once you have materials or a workshop. |
| Explorer/Merchant/Digger/Florist/Tamer | Exploring, trading, digging, flowers, animals | Pick based on your favorite playstyle. |
Quests
/quests shows active server-wide tasks. Quests can cover mob kills, PvP, mining, block placement, repairing gear, crafting, and smelting. Rewards scale with effort. Combine quests with your active job: a Miner benefits heavily from mining quests, while a Farmer benefits from farming tasks.
Perks
Perks are permanent advantages bought with /perks. After purchase, you can toggle them on or off. Effect-based perks are reapplied when you join or respawn.
| Perk | Effect | When useful? |
|---|---|---|
| DOUBLE_XP | More experience | Leveling, enchanting, and farming. |
| SPEED_BOOST | Permanent speed | Exploring, building, and farming. |
| JUMP_BOOST | Jump higher | Building and terraforming. |
| HASTE | Mine faster | Mining and large excavation projects. |
| NIGHT_VISION | Permanent night vision | Caves, Nether trips, and night building. |
| FIRE_RESISTANCE | Fire immunity | Very valuable in the Nether. |
| GLOWING | Glowing effect | Visibility and fun. |
| NO_HUNGER | Hunger does not decrease | Comfort during long farming or building sessions. |
| KEEP_BALANCE | Protects money on death | Important when carrying lots of wallet money. |
| NO_FALL_DAMAGE | No fall damage | Very helpful while building and exploring. |
Custom Items and custom crafting
Custom Items are special tools with unique functions. Find them through the Custom Items menu in /smp. All crafting recipes are stored as recipe cards directly below this wiki text.
| Item | Function | How to use |
|---|---|---|
| 3x3 Pickaxe | Mines a larger area. | Mine normally; sneak to disable the 3x3 effect. |
| 3x3 Shovel | Clears dirt, sand, gravel, and similar blocks faster. | Great for terraforming; sneak to disable the effect. |
| Lumberjack Axe | Fells entire natural trees. | Sneak for single logs; right-click can strip trunks. |
| Farmer Hoe (3x3) | Harvests mature crops and replants. | Works especially well with the Farmer job active. |
| Magnet Glove | Pulls nearby items and XP to you. | Right-click to toggle on or off. |
| Ultimate Furnace T10/T50/T100 | Smelts much faster than a normal furnace. | Place it and use it like a furnace. |
| Builder's Wand | Extends connected surfaces with the same block. | Right-click to build, left-click for wand storage. |
| Leaf Shears | Removes connected natural leaves or vines. | Useful for tree farms and decorative leaves. |
ME-style storage system
Advanced players can use an ME-inspired storage network. The ME Controller is the core. Connected chests act as storage, and ME Wireless Terminals provide mobile access. Crafting upgrades automatically increase an existing terminal by one tier when it is placed in the middle of an upgrade recipe; existing link data is preserved. The recipe cards below therefore list every upgrade tier separately with its target tier and stats.
| Terminal | Access | Range | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | Same world | 128 blocks | Base recipe using Eyes of Ender, Echo Shards, and a Comparator. |
| T2 | Same world | 512 blocks | Upgrade from T1 with Netherite Ingots and Upgrade Templates. |
| T3 | Same world | 1024 blocks | Upgrade from T2. |
| T4 | Same world | 2048 blocks | Upgrade from T3. |
| T5 | Same world | Unlimited | Unlimited range within the same world. |
| T6 | Cross-world | Unlimited | Maximum terminal with cross-world access. |
Storage, deliveries, crates, and votes
/storage opens an extra GUI storage space. /deliveries stores rewards that could not be placed directly into your inventory, such as rewards while offline or when your inventory was full. Crates are opened with matching keys; vote keys come from voting. Check deliveries regularly so you do not miss rewards.
Kits and convenience commands
Use /kit or /kits to open item packages. Some kits may require permissions or have cooldowns. Convenience commands like /craft, /enderchest, /anvil, /grindstone, /stonecutter, /loom, and /smithingtable open vanilla Minecraft menus directly. /trash deletes items permanently, so use it carefully.
Profile, statistics, PvP, and death
/profile shows your progress, /stats shows activity values, and /top shows leaderboards. Use /pvp to toggle PvP where allowed. Depending on server rules, death can cost money; the KEEP_BALANCE perk protects against that.
Other systems and worlds
Head drops: Certain entities can drop custom heads.
Elevators: A carpet above a redstone block can act as a vertical transport point.
DayVote: Use /dayvote to vote with others for daytime.
Worlds: The SMP includes a buildworld for long-term projects, a farmworld for resources, plus the Nether and End. Farm worlds may reset depending on server plans.
Repair: /repair hand or /repair all repairs gear after showing the cost and asking for confirmation.
