Network-Wide Language System

Dyhntastic.net now features a network-wide language system. Your language is detected automatically on first join, and you can change it anytime using /lang or the lobby GUI.

  • Auto Language Detection — Your Minecraft client language is detected automatically when you first join the network.
  • Change Anytime — Switch your language at any time with /lang <countrycode> or via the lobby GUI under Extras → Language.
  • Powered by DeepL — Translations are generated automatically using the DeepL API and build up gradually over time.
  • Continuously Growing — The system is actively being expanded — more messages and languages will be integrated over the coming weeks.

Network-Wide Language System

We're introducing a new feature on Dyhntastic.net: a network-wide language system. The entire network can now automatically detect your language and display messages accordingly.

Automatic Language on First Join

When you join the network for the first time, your language will be automatically set based on the language configured in your Minecraft client. No setup required.

Changing Your Language

You can change your language at any time using the /lang command or through the lobby GUI.

  • Command: Type /lang <countrycode> in chat — e.g. /lang DE or /lang EN
  • Lobby GUI: Navigate to Extras → Language and select your language using the menu

Current Development Status

The language system required significant development time and troubleshooting. We cannot yet guarantee everything works perfectly — please read the details below.

What you should know right now

  • All English messages are the original versions and are not automatically translated
  • Translations are generated automatically using the DeepL API
  • A translation is only created the first time a message is triggered in another language
  • This means translations will appear gradually over time as messages are triggered
  • Currently only about 5% of all messages are translated

Ongoing Development

The language system is not yet fully integrated across the network. Over the next weeks and months, work will continue on expanding the integration to cover all messages.

Because translations are generated automatically, you may occasionally encounter imperfect translations or formatting and color issues. This is a known limitation of automated translation systems and will improve over time.

Feedback & Bug Reports
