Designer for Graphics and Network Visuals

As a Designer in the Design team, you create graphics, banners and visual assets for the Dyhntastic.net network. Your work helps our projects look professional, recognisable and consistent across the website, community channels, announcements, events and server-related content.

This role is not only about making things look nice. We are looking for designers who understand layout, readability, colour concepts, visual hierarchy and the purpose behind a graphic. Your designs should support communication and strengthen the network's visual identity.

Responsibilities

  • Creating graphics, banners, thumbnails, social media visuals and promotional materials
  • Supporting the design of website elements, server-related visuals and community content
  • Working closely with Content, Development and Building to align visuals with project goals
  • Maintaining a consistent visual identity across different formats and platforms
  • Revising designs based on feedback and iterating until the result works properly

What you should bring

  • You are at least 16 years old
  • You work reliably, independently and can accept design feedback constructively
  • You have good German skills and can communicate clearly within the team
  • You have a solid understanding of layout, composition, colour theory and visual hierarchy
  • You have practical experience with graphic design and can show your own work
  • You are willing to invest time regularly and deliver consistently

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma or Canva
  • Experience with Minecraft-related design such as textures, resource packs or server branding
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing or social media content
  • Understanding of web design or UI principles

Your application

Your application should be written as a continuous text and contain at least 200 words. Include your motivation, the tools you use, your design background and your availability. Please add a portfolio or references that clearly show your own work. If references come from team projects, explain which parts were created by you.
